Thanks to all who answered my oil thread and gave help.
Watch out, people, the manual actually IS wrong!
I drained some of the oil again (was a messy thing) and
let the engine run for a while. Afterwards I checked again
and filled up exactly to top line.
My advice for all your do-it-yourselfers: Put in only 2 quarts
(which is slightly a bit more than 2 liters), run the engine
for a while and check again. The level will lower some, go ahead
then and fill 'er up to top level.
